The Association of Dutch Designers (BNO) launched the fifth edition of the leading Dd, Dutch Designers Yearbook on November 28, 2024, this time around the theme (Off) Balance. This hardcover publication offers a comprehensive overview of a year in Dutch design and highlights the latest developments within the field.

Neuroscientist Lara Wierenga wrote the opening essay, exploring, among other things, how different stimuli influence our creative brain. Her message closely connects to my graduation project: “Every brain works differently, and that works.” That’s why the brains I created visually complement and reinforce her essay.
